In your downfall, I see a beauty like no other.  
I repulse myself, hiding in the bright lights,  
where curiosity will not distract you,  
and the blinding neon will grip you.  
And soon your memory of me will dim,

She's so Beautiful.

They beauty is in confidence, and the confidence that you project on others.

I was one born with shy eyes, preferring the veil of darkness. I always have. Not that sometimes I've stepped into the lime-light. It just never was for being 'beautiful'.

What is beautiful, anyway? Is it personal preferance, or that of culture, time or religion?

I remember reading, women used to poison themselves to have lighter skin. Those who were fatter were awed, as it was a sign of wealth.

Now is thin thighs, tanned, clear skin and bright blue eyes.

Has the westernized world that surrounds me contorted my image of myself so much, that beauty is no-longer a difined to me at all? Or rather, it is defined so sharply that I don't even understand anymore?

Is beautiful a neutral term, something that can be implied on all creatures at a time?

What IS beauty?

And why can't I ever seem to be able to acheive it like those around me?

Did you know that the shop 'Supre' thinks their name means 'super' in French? Look up 'Supre' in the french-english dictionary. I think the definition is much more suited to them. :)
